8 tips for healthy hair

Change of season, stress, poor diet, chlorine, salt, UV… external aggressions are numerous for our hair during the summer period. In order to minimize them on the scalp and the lengths, the editorial staff has long applied natural tricks. As we like to remind you regularly: there is no need to ruin yourself with industrial cosmetics, nature has already planned everything! Want to regain healthy hair? Here are 8 tips to follow.
1 – Get enough sleep & eat a balanced diet
Simple and effective: sleep well. You will see that applying this trick will change your life on a lot of points. Starting with the good health of your hair mass! To this good habit we could also add having a regular sporting activity.
2 – Cut the ends regularly
Please note, you are not told to cut 5 cm each time. But if you notice split ends or very dry ends, do not hesitate to cut. This will allow stimulate hair growth on the scalp and to (re)start on a sound basis.
3 – Use CBD-based hair products
There is an ever increasing number of CBD hair care products on the market. Otherwise, some people simply go to a site like cibdol.fr to buy a good quality CBD oil and apply it directly to their hair. Among the claimed benefits:
- Rich in amino acids and fatty acids essential Omega 3 and 6, CBD oil strengthens hair, helps it grow, limits hair loss and stimulates microcirculation of the scalp.
- Rich in antioxidants (vitamin E, A and minerals), hemp provides calcium and magnesium. At the key? Hair protected against external aggressions. The capillary mass is shinier and has more vitality.
- Finally, the cannabinoids contained in hemp help to regulate sebum production on the scalp. The hair is hydrated, but no longer greasy!
4 – Make homemade masks between shampoos
Home mask for oily, dry, colored hair, lacking vitality or volume… there is a home mask based on natural ingredients for each of your needs! We recommend doing at least 1 per week for long term results.
5 – Use cider vinegar as a mask and/or to rinse
It’s’star ingredient for healthy hair. It brings shine, accelerates growth, prevents the phenomenon of greasy hair and is also anti-dandruff! It is thanks to the minerals and trace elements (magnesium, iron, calcium and potassium) of which it is composed. Don’t worry about the smell: it disappears as soon as the hair is dry!
We advise you to use it in rinsing water or as a mask: 100 ml of cider vinegar for 500 ml of lukewarm water. Dip your hair generously in the mixture, tie a damp towel over your head and leave on for 15 minutes. Wash and then rinse with very cold water to tighten the cuticle of the hair. Finally, let it air dry for an even more visible result.
6 – Learn to brush your hair properly
You thought you had mastered the gesture? It’s a safe bet that you will be surprised. First resolution: do not brush your wet hair as soon as you get out of the shower. This damages them much more than if you do it when they are dry or almost dry. If you are afraid of knots, be generous with the detangler when you shampoo.
Do not brush your hair mass more than twice a day (morning and evening) and preferably do it upside down. This allows distribute the sebum that protects your hair and eliminate more residue and particles accumulated during the day.
7 – Protect them as much as possible from the heat
Hair dryer, straightener or curler, sun… the hair frankly does not like the heat too much ! For all equipment (hair dryer, iron…) know that the proteins contained in the fiber begin to degrade around 140°C. Problematic when you know that most irons go up to 200°C…

8 – Do not tie your hair constantly & avoid chaining colors
Your hair needs to breathe! Tying them too frequently breaks the fiber and gives your hair a bad shape, in addition to you create pain in the skull. So tie them as little as possible in favor of hairstyles to face the heat, but not aggressive for your hair.
If you are used to coloring and/or highlighting, stop at least during the summer season. The chemicals contained in the mixtures dry out enormously and weaken the fiber. If we add, as a bonus, bathing aggressions (salt, chlorine) and stronger UV rays in summer, we obtain a cocktail of the most explosive for our hair. Let’s give them a vacation…
