Las vigas –

An ‘incredibly stressed’ Adele kicked off her Las Vegas concerts on Friday, 10 months after upsetting fans by postponing shows at the last minute.

People who attended the top-charting premiere of “Weekends with Adele” at Caesars Palace said they were thrilled to see the Grammy-winning singer live on stage and seemed to forgive her for the delay. The audience gave her a standing ovation.

“Thank you for coming back to me,” said the singer.

Fans said the show was heartwarming and they were moved by her singing performances including “Hello” and “Easy on Me”.

“Adele brought it up like she always does,” said Nicole Quinn, 49. “I laughed, cried, screamed, jumped, everything. And so did I.”

“Amazing. Amazing. She was the bomb,” said Sally Hoffman, a Philadelphia cheerleader.

The British singer faced backlash in January, when she said in a disturbing video that she could not perform because half of her cast had COVID-19 and that the pandemic had caused delivery delays. The concerts were scheduled to start the next day and some fans were on their way to Nevada, or already there, when the news reached them.

Shannon Tapper, 55, said she was “incredibly frustrated” at the time, but after watching the show on Friday, she felt it was “definitely worth the wait.”

“She was amazing. I’ve been to a lot of concerts. I can’t even describe how amazing she was,” said Tapper.

On Thursday night, Adele shared a photo of herself on Instagram during a rehearsal, saying she was “very emotional, incredibly nervous but can’t sit still because I’m so excited.”

Known for her anecdotal stories of heartbreak and nostalgia, the 34-year-old made a comeback last year with her fourth studio album, “30.” It was nominated for Album of the Year at the 2023 Grammys. It is scheduled to play in Vegas through March.

“It was amazing,” said Alesha Welburn, 39, of Tennessee. “And I can’t believe she’s getting nervous. Like, why get nervous at peasants like us? We’re just basking in her glory.”
