Sydney, 2022-01-17 17:49:00. Canadian leg of Offspring, Simple Plan tour canceled due to COVID-19
Troubled times continue, at least when it comes to COVID-19 shutting down live music production.
The bands announced Monday that the Canadian stage of Let The Bad Times Roll Tour featuring The Offspring and Simple Plan has been cancelled.
“There’s no point in asking you to come out and watch our huge show if there’s a last-minute opportunity to shut everything down,” read an update on The Offspring.
“We’re disappointed, but let’s get through this mess together. You stay home and we stay home, we’ll give you your money back and then wait for a better number. We’re working hard to find a new time frame and we’ll be back to rock with you guys as soon as possible.”
The 21-stop Canadian leg of the tour was scheduled to begin in Moncton, note: on January 27, then make its way to Vancouver on March 3.
There were five planned stops in Alberta – Grand Prairie (February 19), Red Deer (February 20), Lethbridge (February 22), Edmonton (February 23) and Calgary (February 25).
