This woman from Nova Scotia is ready to appear on Jeopardy! Tuesday night.
Who is Mattia Roach?
The 23-year-old from Halifax, who currently lives in Toronto, expressed her excitement at appearing on the long-running game show by sharing a photo of her with Jeopardy! Mayim Bialik is hosted on Twitter.
Roach, a teacher, will face a high school social studies teacher and government contractor.
The Roach family shows their support before her move! for the first time. In what she described as “extreme behavior in Cape Breton,” her relatives in Marion Bridge, NS, added the words “Good Luck Mattia” to the banner at their grocery store.

Nova Scotia President and Prime Minister Tim Houston also wishes Roach luck on social media, along with Sacred Heart in Halifax, the school she graduated from in 2015.
“An extraordinary student and outstanding debater during her time here, she is sure to impress,” the school tweeted on Monday.
