Paris, 2022-01-11 11:19:54. John Stamos says he’s “not ready to say goodbye” to Bob Saget
John Stamos posted a heartfelt tribute on Tuesday to his dear friend and former player Bob Saget.
Saget, who passed away Sunday at the age of 65, is deeply saddened by family, friends and fans.
Stamos shared his love on a verified Instagram account with a photo of him and Saget in formal attire, writing “I’m not ready to accept his passing – I won’t say goodbye yet.”
“I will picture him there, still on the road, doing what he loves with all his heart and sense of humor,” Stamos continued. “He’s standing on stage, killing! Last two hours in front of a few hundred luckiest people on the planet.”
Saget was in Florida over the weekend as part of his comedy tour and posted on his verified social media accounts what turned out to be his latest show. He was found dead in his Orlando hotel room the next day.
“Currently, there is no evidence of drug use or poor play,” chief medical examiner Joshua Stefani said in a statement to CNN on Monday. The cause and method of death are pending further studies.
Stamos, who starred with Saget in “Full House” and its sequel series “Fuller House,” writes about a scenario where after the show his friend “is on his way to the hotel, calling his lovely, adorable wife, Kelly. He says he feels 26 again, Alive! “
“He tells her he loves her with all his heart,” Stamos wrote. “And when he gets to the hotel to lay his head on the pillow, he misses his daughters, his family, and his friends.” “God, he loves us all so much. And he sleeps dreaming when we’ll all meet again—and he’s smiling. I know in my heart he’s smiling, and he can still hear the laughter a few hours ago.”
He concluded by saying, “I’m not ready to say goodbye yet. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe.”
